November Guidance Reading
Five of Pentacles, Five of Swords and Page of Cups
This month's cards reveal a need for creative thinking to, get out of or through, some tricky situations. We are met with two intense options and a call not to fall heavy handed on one or the other.
By now, we are well acquainted with the Five of Pentacles. Symbolizing financial struggles and rising anxieties, this card may be looking scary for November as we roll into the colder months. Take this as a warning or heads up to make a strategy and prepare for harsher conditions. This isn't our first rodeo with Five of Pentacles so now is a good time to recall previous lessons for a smoother road ahead.
Five of Swords has us swinging the other direction with a more aggressive approach. Winning now, at all costs, can mean burning necessary bridges you may need down the road. Be tactful with how you approach a conflict or opportunity; being heavy handed can lead to unintentionally hurting those around you.
Page of Cups is our saving grace this month. This card brings in a youthful energy that is needed to quell the fives. Water being the symbol of emotion and heart, the Page of Cups is here to remind us of what is important. Either reflected in yourself or someone else, this Page sparks inspiration, something we can find comforting when stuck between a rock and a hard place. Lean on the hope and optimism of the Page to traverse between the fives without falling one way or another.
In short, don't fall victim to despair or anger. Make appropriate plans to take on harsher conditions but avoid being to aggressive with the execution of them. Find inspiration where you can and use creative means to address challenges and conflicts. A little whimsy can reduce building tension and lift some fog on the road ahead.
