January Guidance Reading

January, the beginning of a new year, another cycle, is heavily represented in the beginning of the pull; showing us where our focus should ultimately be.

It's time to open up a new page. Although change can be difficult it's crucial not to shy away from the challenges they may bring or carry old wounds into new opportunities. 

The Lovers can symbolize both relationships with others as well as ourselves. Looking at ourselves first, the Lovers urge us to find some internal harmony and balance. Make peace with all aspects of yourself and take the time to really get to know who you are. With Death leading the month it leaves ample space to be filled with self-discovery. 

Pertaining to relationships with others we must strive for genuine connections and aligned values and goals. This is amplified by the Seven of Swords resting at the end.

 

We see the Seven of Swords popping in early from the Reading of the Seasons, to give warning about our heads in the clouds or having rose coloured glasses on. Some discernment and caution can prevent us from letting in unfavorable or even destructive influences into our circles. Stay alert and realistic about people and opportunities coming into play this month. 

Overall, Death of an old cycle opens the door for some personal growth and understanding. This internal understanding will help us to identify if external influences are aligned or distracting to our goals and desires. Let January be a good month for a little soul-searching and self-love!
