2023 Reading of the Seasons

2023 is going to be an interesting year for lessons and perseverance. The overarching theme will have us discovering and prioritizing balance. Embracing this lesson will prove to be a transformative experience.

Themes: Community, Structure, Vitality, Flow
Challenges: Financial Anxiety, Suppression, Overwhelm, Blockage

Elements: Water & Earth
Numbers: 5 & 2
Symbols: Circle & Triangle

Winter: Five of Pentacles
The beginning of the year will have us facing some financial challenges. Business owners know that the next month or so after holiday season can be slow for sales as people may feel a sense of stagnation and isolation during these winter months. This can feel heavy so it will be very important to seek community and comfort. This season, as every, will pass and our perseverance will see us through this anxiety with the help of our inner circles.

Spring: The Hierophant
Entering into spring will be met with a strong sense of responsibility. This might be time to keep our heads down and put ample effort into our goals and needs but there’s always a risk of being too rigid. Take a healthy amount of structure into your life but don’t let it consume you; it may lead to a resentful outlook. You are the keyholder of your life, don’t be afraid to unlock doors that don’t fit into your narrative - they can teach you things too.

Summer: Two of Pentacles
Renewed Vitality will give us just what we need this summer. This season is where balance can really flourish; with the energy to maintain structure and explore new ideas we can really gain some traction on moving forward in our lives. The value of cycles and contrast will put our goals into perspective. A burst of energy may be overwhelming but try your best to avoid isolating; this can lead to missed opportunities and regression.

Fall: The High Priestess
Fall is going to hit us with a different sense of heaviness than winter. Duality will follow us into this season but imagine it more as flowing water than a rigid gear. Be ready to step into a new stage of life and reflect on lessons of the year. Exploring these wisdoms and embracing our core will help us develop a sense of maturity and mastery over our lives. Don’t shy away from mysteries of the world and yourself but remain focused on the needs of your progression. The heaviness will come from a sense of growth in this stage. It may feel uncomfortable at first but with steady practice you’ll learn to flow effortlessly

Hang on through the challenges that may come and you’ll be rewarded with a great sense of personal growth. Lean on your support system in times of need and find the stable center of balance.
